Barolando In Barolo

We just went for lunch and it was a lovely discovery. The staff were kind and friendly. The food: delicious, addictive bread, excellent tagliolini with ragù, and artichoke with burrata. Everything was excellent, and you can tell they've put a lot of care and attention into the ingredients. Thank you.

Barolando was a pleasant surprise!! The atmosphere is refined, the staff attentive and friendly; the quality of the ingredients and the cuisine are excellent. It's like in the movie Ratatouille, where food critic Anton Ego tastes the food prepared by Remy and is deeply moved by the memories of a flavor. I had the guinea fowl-filled plinths and was thrilled! The tartare and baked pear were also excellent. Highly recommended!

We ate really well at this little restaurant in Barolo. And the service was excellent.

We always return as soon as we can. Excellent dishes made with local ingredients and expertly prepared. The service is competent and friendly. We'll be back again.

We've been frequenting this restaurant for a few years and have always enjoyed the menu. The food has always been excellent. Today, veal with tuna sauce and ragù, and for dessert, pear with custard, washed down with an excellent Barbaresco. Perfect lunch.

We were there for lunch on October 31st and were lucky enough to get a seat on the terrace, which had a very lovely, elegant, and cozy atmosphere (the interior was a bit less appealing, but had we sat there, I wouldn't have deducted any points). The service, provided by a mother and daughter (I assume), was exceptionally charming and polite, and they were both extremely busy, yet the service was quick and attentive. But the real highlight was the food. The vitello tonnato was excellent, and the best risotto I've ever had—Barolo risotto with creamy Langhe cheese—was divine. My companion had hazelnut gnocchi with hazelnuts and goat's cheese, which was also very good. We enjoyed a reasonably priced wine with our meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sublime dishes, one better than the other

A simple and elegant restaurant located in the historic center of Barolo. Excellent food, freshly grated truffles. The veal with tuna sauce and tiramisu are truly amazing. I highly recommend it.
