Spacious and bright. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The open kitchen is beautiful. The menu offers seafood dishes, but there are also some meat options. The presentation, the combination of ingredients, and the choice to have a limited selection, but all excellently cooked, are excellent. They do offer side dishes, which aren't always mentioned or offered (just ask). The dessert menu lacks a single chocolate option (aside from the tiramisu), but the lemon tart is delicious. Prices are in line with the offerings, so not cheap, but they reflect the quality. Coffee served in a moka pot is amazing. I suggest serving it with a few cookies.

Now long-time customers, we can only recommend this restaurant, which remains a point of reference for good fish in Milan. Always courteous and polite service. Fair variety of dishes although a few more options would not be bad.

We had dinner at Barmare yesterday, the place is undoubtedly well-kept and attentive to detail. The service overall was quite good apart from a small initial wait for orders (perhaps due to the presence of an 18th in the outside area). The appetizers and first courses were good, however perhaps something was missing to make them special; the burnt octopus was the best dish. Overall, a place where you can definitely eat well and enjoy the food, the only thing I think is that the prices are a bit high: 5 euros for the cover charge, two octopus tentacles 26 euros. With these prices I expect the wow factor which in my opinion was not there.

Excellent experience. I chose Barmare for a company dinner with 30 people and everything was perfect: attentive service, welcoming atmosphere and above all extraordinary cuisine. All the guests were thrilled. Gianpiero was extremely helpful and very professional, helping me immediately to find the ideal solution for the event. Whether it's an evening with colleagues, friends or as a couple, it's a place I recommend

Esperienza fantastica. Ho organizzato al Barmare una cena di lavoro con 30 persone ed è stato tutto impeccabile: dal servizio, all’ambiente, AL CIBO, che è davvero superlativo. Tutti i presenti erano molto contenti. Gianpiero è stato molto gentile e professionale, sin dall’organizzazione, nel consigliarmi la soluzione migliore. Che sia per piacere o per lavoro, una cena a due, con amici o colleghi, ve lo consiglio vivamente!!
