Barlafus Osteria In Mezzomerico

As Poles, we weren't impressed by the lady's knowledge of wine or dishes, but she still tried to tailor everything to our tastes. I had the pleasure of dining at this bar and enjoying a dish that many restaurants would envy: pork in black pepper sauce with grilled peppers. My girlfriend, on the other hand, had a delicious four-cheese pasta (unlike any we'd ever had before). The dishes were characterized by their high freshness and unique flavor. As I said, I wasn't surprised by the lady's knowledge of wine; we simply asked for a sweet, ahahahha. Despite this, the lady suggested exactly what we wanted, saying that this wine is usually served with desserts. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the dishes (they disappeared too quickly 😂❤️), but I can honestly say that this is where you can experience true Italy. P.S. As an appetizer, we were given plenty of fresh bread, olive oil, and pepper. The girl got practically unlimited parmesan cheese for the pasta, which she could use throughout the meal without any restrictions (you can add as much as you want). I think that when you are in the area, it is really worth trying the local cuisine in places like this, because they show us what Italy tastes like (2 dishes, 2 glasses of wine = about €28)

Excellent food, great selection of wines, top-notch atmosphere and service, more than fair prices. It's a shame I live far away, otherwise I'd be there every night!

A classic village bar/restaurant, very welcoming and offering excellent local food. Perfect for an aperitif or dinner featuring local dishes.

No parking.. We have to drive around to fine the car park and walk. For me food are a bit strange taste. Ravioli taste was full of MSG, pasta was plain and roast beef with sweet sauce but it might their recipe, chocolate cake was good

Everything was excellent, just a little pricey. Better for lunch than dinner for the quality/price ratio.

I just stopped for a coffee and found it to be a welcoming, clean place, and above all, friendly and courteous. Excellent coffee.

Come scritto nel titolo questo locale consente un salto indietro nel tempo. Anche se etichettato come bar nella realtà è anche un piccolo ma piacevolissimo ristorante. Pochi i tavoli, quindi la prenotazione è assolutamente indispensabile. Ambiente "vecchia maniera", tovaglie a quadrettoni, arredamento rustico ed essenziale, ricorda le osterie di paese tipiche dello scorso secolo. Personale cortese, professionale ed efficiente. Ottima cucina basata su specialità piemontesi e sull'utilizzo del formaggio gorgonzola prodotto in zona, affettati e formaggi di qualità rimarchevole. Prezzi commisurati alla tipologia del locale, quindi contenuti. Unica pecca il frastuono assordante provocato da alcuni avventori che festeggiavano qualche ricorrenza in maniera piuttosto sguaiata e le cui voci (o meglio urla) riecheggiavano in maniera fastidiosa.

Osteria molto carina. Il cibo è buono ed abbondante. Irish stew spettacolare. Consigliato. Cameriere molto gentili. Se passate in zona ve lo consiglio.
