Barcaccia In Roma

We dined on the second floor and had a very good dining experience, attentive reception from the wait staff and delicious food, we will come again!

We really enjoyed our lunch here at Barcaccia. With a smaller group we sat upstairs with amazing views and cool decor. Our food was pretty on the plate and tasty. The service was very good and attentive. After reading some of these negative reviews I often wonder how awful it is working with tourists. While we were there we over heard a couple demanding to be sat, fed quickly and then only chose a few cheap items and chronic complaining. I can’t imagine what the rent must be with a location like this. Yes, the gelato is going to be expensive, look at the location. But it’s tasty and sweet. We enjoyed salads, pasta and fabulous Hugo’s. I bring groups to Rome every year and I happily return here too. For other reviewers please stop complaining about paying for an expensive gelato at the foot of the Spanish Steps - 🙄 you’re in Rome ITALY!!

I was here for lunch... enchanting! From the window you could contemplate the Spanish Steps... a "WOW" is a must! Absolutely excellent food... a superlative cacio e pepe!!! Welcoming and tasteful place... Definitely coming back ❣️

I came here specifically for the tiramisu 🤤 and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend pairing it with a cappuccino and enjoying it outdoors in front of the coffee shop with a beautiful view of the Spanish Steps. Perfect spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere! 😍

The service is on high level, friendly and professional staff, and the location is obviously the best.

We had a good experience in this place. Parto helped us very great to find the good food and drink. The place is quite close to Spanish steps. We could enjoy the food and drink, close to the steps which is historically beautiful.

Wonderful Affogato and Tiramisu

They charge 3 euros per person just for sitting. Exorbitant prices! We went in with no choice. 10 euros for a bottle of Coke. 5.5 for a half liter of water. Extremely excessive

May25- sit outside and see the folks at the boat and the Spanish steps. People watch. Staff friendly. Service not too shabby. Good was good and lots of nibbles with drink. The orange and rocket salad with parmesan was divine. The homemade tiramisu was Ok. The aperol and view was great.

This café is located right next to the Spanish Steps—an unbeatable, premium location and seemingly the only option directly across from the monument. Naturally, the prices reflect this: a cappuccino costs €7 and a tiramisu €10. The cappuccino tasted somewhat diluted, and the tiramisu was overly sweet for my preference. That said, the location is truly exceptional and offers a great spot to pause and enjoy the view.
