Barbini In Castiglione del lago

I have never seen such a terribly dirty hotel, from the first moment I had a cough, watery eyes and a stuffy nose. It was a crying shame. The next day we found another clean hotel, wonderful and relieved when we could breathe again and especially shower. In the description there is a view of the lake, so not. I would say never book.

An enchanting place, the surprise you don't expect. Room with attention to every detail, clean and elegant. Spacious bathroom and very large shower. Courtesy and efficiency of Mrs. Linda, truly priceless. An experience absolutely worth repeating, congratulations to Mr. Barbini.

a real pearl, finely furnished with friendly and helpful staff. It is located in a perfect position in the city center but with the possibility of using the swimming pool in the country house just 3km away. We also had a beautiful horseback ride with the associated riding school. We will definitely be back!

I had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo Barbini in Castiglione del Lago! The historic charm of the property, combined with modern comforts, made for a perfect experience. The spacious and beautifully decorated rooms offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside. Brando, our host, was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with local tips and recommendations. His attention to detail truly made our stay special. The location is ideal, with easy access to the town’s attractions and lovely restaurants. I can't recommend Palazzo Barbini and Brando enough for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway!

Great experience!!! Top marks for this ancient residence, visible efforts to keep the furnishings as original as possible. Congratulations for the welcome, the boy of particular education and courtesy. We were welcomed with all the attention, fresh water upon arrival and a delicious coffee upon check out. Top marks to the cook, and all the staff (of the pasta elementary school). I would return to Castiglione just to taste its dishes again (all superb). The spacious rooms, excellent cleanliness, hydromassage tub. Plus coffee, tea, air conditioning. Our little girl slept great on a top-brand sofa bed. The double room of the imperial suite sent us back in time. It gave me the thrill, especially when waking up with the sound of bells. Very original!!!

Excellent location a stone's throw from car parks in the centre. Historic building, rooms furnished in the style of the time... this is its peculiarity!!
