11/03/2026: I write this review with regret because, while the food quality wasn't disappointing, the overall experience at La Fricca was marred by customer service that I would describe as questionable, to say the least.
We had made an online reservation with the intention of taking advantage of the "Ristoranti Bergamo" promotion. Although the dishes included in the offer were regularly available on the à la carte menu (thus ruling out any issue with the availability of raw materials), we were denied access to it for completely unfounded and, at times, contradictory reasons.
We were informed that the offer wasn't applicable because we had booked through TheFork, implying the burden of external commissions. It's a shame our reservation didn't go through that platform... Beyond the factual error, I find it inelegant for a restaurant to force its distribution choices on the customer in order to deny them a service.
It was also claimed that the dishes on the promotional menu had been "recalibrated" (i.e., reduced) compared to the à la carte menu. I find it unacceptable, as well as offensive to the consumer's intelligence, to offer a "promotion" that essentially consists of making customers eat less while still costing €50 per person. A preferential price should never translate into poor service.
I understand that it's perfectly legitimate for a restaurant owner to decide how and when to apply their offers. However, it's equally legitimate for a customer, faced with such a decline in style and such opaque management, to decide not to return.
We honored the evening by dining at Fricca anyway, but the feeling of not being appreciated as "promotional customers" was clear. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I will report the incident directly to RistorantiBergamo; they will evaluate the correctness of your policy and the handling of the entire incident.
It would have been "capricious" to give your restaurant a generic one-star rating: after this response, frankly, you deserve it.
Furthermore, minimizing the amount of €9 after raising concerns about alleged commissions is truly hilarious and highlights a significant inconsistency. It's like calling a donkey a fool. This attitude, more than any figure, truly describes your level of inattention to the customer. Adios.
