A great place to stop for a bite to eat in Schlinig! (Not only the alpine pasture is recommended...) Must-try: farmer's toast (Vinschgerl panini topped with bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese) as well as the lovely selection of homemade cakes, tarts, and South Tyrolean apple strudel. Cozy terrace and lovely dining room.

The homemade cakes are highly recommended. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Paintings by a South Tyrolean artist hang on the walls. Very beautiful!

Cozy place with a terrace with a wonderful panoramic view. Excellent hot sandwich with speck, cooked ham, onion, tomatoes and cheese.... so inviting and tasty that I didn't photograph it 🤤 The cakes are delicious, home made, and the fresh radler is super. Excellent and attentive service. Good quality/quantity/price ratio. Dog friendly place both on the terrace and inside 🐾🐾🐾🐾 A must try if you take the path that from the car park at the bottom of the chairlift above Burgusio leads to Slingia Second stop after 5 days in which we also tasted the vegetarian bauerntoast, absolutely delicious 😋🤤😋🤤 then the delicious apricot strudel and a slice of black forest cake, absolutely balanced in sweetness and taste. Confirmed the previous opinion, absolutely a must try!!!!!!!

Highly recommended if you're staying overnight in Schlinig or just in town for a hike. Great cakes and snacks for between meals or as a snack. Aperol and Hugo for €5 – where else can you find that these days?
