For years, when I go to Aosta I go to have lunch at Genzianella in Pollain because it is a guarantee of excellent food, impeccable service and very kind staff

Ci siamo stati venerdì 15 novembre 2024 a cena. Buon locale, ci avevano riservato un tavolo per due in fondo al locale. Anche se era abbastanza affollato, non si sentiva molto rumore. Abbiamo preso il carpaccio di polpo e l'insalata di mare come antipasto. Ottimi entrambi i piatti. A seguire ho preso gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare (veramente abbondanti) e una milanese di pollo con insalata. Un dolce della casa, acqua e vino della casa. Devo dire che un'ottima trattoria. Sicuramente un posto da riprovare.

October 2024 We went here for dinner, normal atmosphere, friendly staff and good quality food. The restaurant is located very close to Aosta and the prices are well aligned with the quality you receive....a must try!!

19/12/2024: Traditional Italian restaurant. On the night we were there everyone else was Italian. Food was traditional good quality italian , limited menu choice but all the better for it . No kids options but pasta available ! The Brunet was fantastic

Agriturismo La Tchavana di Metsan

12/10/2024: What a beauty to have lunch outdoors surrounded by nature and the mountains. Excellent polenta and desserts... incredible whipped cream
28/09/2024: Excellent destination after a walk of about an hour and a half starting from Barmask. Beautiful view, worth it just for that. Very good food, costs slightly higher than the average for restaurants in Val D'Ayas, but there is a farmhouse in the mountains. Service is almost non-existent as everything is ready anyway, but it is also necessary to use the jugs of water that are not brought to the tables: they are empty and clean, ready to be filled at the fountain by the customers themselves. Table reservations are also self-managed, whether they are inside or outside. Still worth a try, even just for the view. We recommend the polenta concia with sausage, good!
