Family atmosphere, excellent homemade food, great prices, wonderful cook, waitress too, even neighbors... It's a shame there's nothing to see nearby, otherwise it would be nice to combine lunch and an excursion. Thank you for letting us have a wonderful Immaculate Conception celebration.

Very friendly owners. We went there for lunch during the week, and the portions were generous. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Locals say it's always busy, and we can confirm that – the restaurant was packed.

A true trattoria of the "old world," simple with 1970s decor. Sunday lunch, a fixed-price menu for €25, all-inclusive, with appetizers featuring fairly mediocre cured meats, fried polenta crostini, potato crostini, savory pie, a first course of pappardelle with mushroom ragù, overcooked pasta with a slightly acidic tomato sauce for my taste, borage ravioli with ragù, roast beef, roast guinea fowl, and stuffed rabbit—really good. Finally, a homemade tart, coffee, water, and wine. Good value for money, but I'm not sure I'd go back.

31/10/2025: Our time in Bagni di Lucca is slowly winding down… so tonight, instead of cooking, we treated ourselves to one of our favorite local spots — and wow, did they deliver! 😍 From the amuse bouche of Pappa al Pomodoro (the coziest Tuscan tomato-bread soup) to tagliolini with white truffle, a crispy Milanese cutlet with patate fritte, a chilled vino bianco frizzante, and finally… tiramisu + flambé crème brûlée 🔥 — every bite was pure perfection. 17/01/2026: I celebrated my 50th birthday there. They served me a tagliata that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Kudos also to the owner, who still puts so much passion into it.
