Bar Splendide In Bellagio

The hotel is historic which I like, location was excellent, rooms and food were terrible. Service was good. They gave us a water kettle and tea bags when we asked for them.

Friendly and keen to serve staff, fantastic location and a nice breakfast. Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by frequent cockroach visitations in the bathroom!! It would have been at least a 4 star....

Beautiful and historic building. Floors are creaky and require maintenance- otherwise absolutely fabulous and an enjoyable stay. A lovely view of BELLAGIO from our balcony.

Vi besøgte denne restaurant i forbindelse med lidt drinks og aftensmad. Vi fik vores drinks hurtigt, og de var desuden meget lækre - gode råvarer og godt personale. Pizzaerne var også tilberedt fint og de havde et fint udvalg. Alt i alt godt

They should improve the floors. The rooms are colonial-style, very clean, and have a beautiful view and an excellent location.

Overrakskende gode drinks. Fantastisk udsigt fra restauranten og en madoplevelse der overrasker med god kvalitet og smag af gode råvarer. Alt i alt en overraskelse og meget for pengene.

We loved this hotel which belies its three star rating. It was “Splendide” indeed. The lobby is archetypal Italian with marble floors, charming furniture and a beautifully ornate staircase rising its six floors. I was with family and all three rooms we had were delightfully decorated and had quite sophisticated marble tiled bathrooms with nice toiletries. One room, which was a little more expensive, had a panoramic view of Lake Como which is definitely worth paying for if you are on a romantic break. The Excelsior Splendide’s main attraction however is its location. It couldn’t really be any better being right in the centre of Bellagio, almost opposite the ferry landing at the end of the strip of restaurants and shops that are strung along the lakeshore. Everywhere is easily walkable. We arrived by car but the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff let us park outside the hotel, which is slightly inside a pedestrian area, to drop our bags before directing us to the Hotel’s parking garage further up the hill. We will return.

I loved it. What a view!!! They also helped us with storing our belongings.

The location was convenient and the room was satisfactory overall. However we encountered an issue with ants during our stay, which significantly impacted our experience. Regrettably, I would not choose to stay here again.

We loved this hotel. Spectacle views of the lake, several restaurants nearby, professional staff, good service, clean rooms. Highly recommend!
