Located in the heart of Torpignattara, this place is perfect for a hearty breakfast. A wide selection of pastries, pastas, and savory items like bread, pizzas, and mini-pizzas, all of excellent quality. A cute spot for coffee and pastries. Staffs are very energetic and friendly. I was struggling with ordering, but they explained each pastry patiently to me. During my trip, I was here countless of times, highly recommended.

I stopped by there several times on my way back to my apartment. I got hot drinks to go in the morning, and in the evening I bought desserts like tiramisu and sweet breads several times. It's open until late at night so it's easy to drop by, it's always busy, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to.

Historic place.. many types of bread, excellent quality, colorful pizza for all tastes, good and crispy.. attentive and impeccable service.. always worth a visit.

Panificio Marè Prati

30/11/2025: After a month of living here in the Prati area, I finally managed to get off work one Saturday morning, so walking past this bakery, captivated primarily by the long line of people, I decided to stop and try it. Perhaps it was too crowded, though I found the staff very fast, and the Christmas invasion (dozens of panettone boxes surrounding you). The atmosphere didn't seem very welcoming, but the staff's courtesy made me feel at home. I sampled some focaccia or pizza bianca (for a Genoese, focaccia is a different matter, hehe), and ordered some pizzas for an aperitivo and some bread. Everything was excellent. I'll definitely be back when I have a free Saturday.
26/11/2025: An excellent neighborhood bakery that has earned a well-deserved reputation for its bread, pizza, and pastries. Always a bit crowded, but well-run by two quick-witted ladies who occasionally offer advice. The whole-wheat, seeded bread is excellent. A little more expensive, but the quality is excellent.
