Abundant home-made lunch served to us even though it was almost 3 pm, penne alla boscaiola was truly out of this world. The lady who served us was really accommodating, she even managed to feed one of our lactose intolerant guests who had only discovered it at lunch time, complete dessert. The terrace then has a fantastic view of the greenery.

I was there on Sunday and I ate well There is a surprise fixed menu, it costs 25 euros all inclusive. Schiacciatina made by them to start, then homemade tordelli excellent and very abundant, acceptable mushroom risotto, very good roast potatoes, peppers, roast beef good but small portion, two thin slices per person. Even the desserts are good but small portions. On Sunday lunch is at 1pm but it starts when everyone who had booked is present, so 20 minutes later.

Una experiencia verdaderamente toscana en la montaña. Comida casera tradicional y abundante vino. Obtienes lo que se esté cocinando ese día - vegetariano disponible si se solicita previamente. Reserva aconsejado - y una visita muy recomendable. Vistas increíbles y una iglesia antigua interesante cerca.

You enter an old village bar, known in the early 60s, but with a restaurant on a splendid and large terrace overlooking the surrounding hills. The written menu does not exist "are you coming to me to eat or to read?" (words of the owner). Informal but clean environment. Lunch is at 13 For lunch they served us homemade tortelli with roast meat filling (sublime), penne alla boscaiola, roast beef, pork loin, roast potatoes, fried courgettes, desserts of your choice (the peach cake was excellent) coffee, water, wine and service charge. €25 per person. The service staff were very kind and discreet, the cook was good. EVERYTHING GOOD. Free parking on the street

Super delicious food 👍 There's no menu; we serve whatever's been cooked that day 👍😋 Very friendly service. Very good value for money. From the outside, the place looks unassuming, but it's worth going inside and being surprised. Dogs are also welcome. 👍🍴🫶

08/07/2025: Everything is excellent and super delicious, the cocktails are impeccable, and the cappuccino is perfect! A huge plus is the staff; they are absolutely cordial, pleasant, and helpful. Highly recommended.

26/05/2025: I was a guest last night with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca, my advice is to leave the car outside as it is a ZTL area. Don't rely too much on Google Maps if you don't want to go home with a fine. The dinner includes a choice of three surprise tastings: 5, 7 or 9 courses plus dessert. We chose the last one with a cost of €150 per person, excluding wine. The menu included fish and meat dishes with a touch of genius in every single course that made the dinner very fun and satisfying, especially since we didn't know what to expect since it is a blind tasting. Compliments to the dining room staff who listened to us and followed us from the beginning to the end of the dinner, doing their job impeccably. The restaurant is also accessible to people with disabilities and is pet friendly.
26/05/2025: My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The menu includes a choice of three culinary courses, consisting of five, seven or nine plus dessert. In our case we opted for the 10-course total for a cost of €150 per person. The course winds through fish and meat dishes with different consistencies and cooking methods and combinations reinterpreted by chef Tomei. The wine list presents a great variety and different typologies with particular labels from all over the world. The dining room staff is very kind and well prepared. The restaurant is located within the walls of Lucca immersed in the beautiful setting of the Pfanner palace, be careful of the ZTL.
