A very simple restaurant near the splendid church of San Cassiano di Controne, above Bagni di Lucca. They bring whatever has been cooked that day, and you eat on a lovely terrace, with no choice. The fixed menu is €25. We started with warm focaccia and continued with meat tortelli, tagliolini with mushrooms, mixed roasts, French fries, and a selection of fried mushrooms, plus dessert and coffee. The first courses were generous and of good quality. The second course left something to be desired: the mixed roasts were sliced ​​very thin, like prosciutto. It's true that they come back to ask if they need more, but slices more suited to a roast would have been appreciated. The French fries are standard, and the fried mushrooms are good, but as mentioned, they were just a sample. Overall, recommended for anyone passing through. I'm not sure I'd go there specifically to visit.
