Bar San Frediano In Lucca

We were greeted with extreme professionalism and kindness. It has several well-spaced seats where you can feel completely at ease; the food is truly delicious, and the waiters are super helpful and friendly. A truly excellent bar!

Lovely bar, great family that runs it. They do have a restroom but you have to buy something to use. Servers speak both English and Italian and they are very welcoming to tourists.

I surprisingly haven’t had the best experience with coffee in Italy yet, but on my last day in the country I visited Bar S. Frediano and was blown away! I ordered a caffe latte and it was amazing, perfectly strong and not overly milky, great temperature and arrived at my table within 2 minutes of ordering. I picked out a pistachio croissant to go with my latte and again was blown away by the taste. So delicious- so I highly recommend this pairing! The amazing and very friendly waiter brought me a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which was the perfect addition to my morning outing in the beautiful city of Lucca. Highly recommend a visit to Bar S. Frediano ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Attentive service and beautiful location!

Very Friendly Staff, got a hot chocolate Full of chocolate flavour and enjoyed the view of the church right next to the cafe. Price was fair and overall a nice experience!

A bit rustic, but the service is friendly and welcoming, and the aperitif is varied, even for the €8 price tag. They could use a bit more quality. Overall, though, I recommend it.
