We stopped by Isidoro on the way to Assisi and had a great time eating local food, cooked very well, excellent choice, delicious crescia, simplicity and friendliness.

Far from the center but if you want to eat a crescia in a place that is NOT for tourists this is the right place. In fact even if it is in the middle of nowhere it is always full. We took some crescia made by them before leaving to return to Veneto.

The best carbonara I've eaten in my life...even my wife who had a ragaria was extremely satisfied. We stopped around 1.30pm on our way back from Marche and we will stop again.

While passing through we stopped at this trattoria where we ate the crescia with cheese and sausage, with sublime steak and cheese and a merlot red wine that went very well with the mixed cold cuts and cheeses. Family run, the owners and the waiter make you feel "at home" Congratulations, we'll see you again very soon!!!

Ristorante/Cresceria a gestione familiare. Isidoro, il titolare, è un vero “mago”della “crescia”, il tradizionale prodotto della cucina eugubina. La crescia ,cotta sul “testo” e abbinata a salumi, formaggi e verdure cotte , e’ un trionfo di gusto e piacere! Rapporto qualità/prezzo incredibile! Locale semplice e accogliente, personale gentile e professionale. Chi vuole assaggiare la cucina tradizionale eugubina DEVE andare da Isidoro !!

I give a full 5 because I really like these places if you want to eat the real Eugubine or Umbrian growth as you want this is the right place you can also enjoy excellent first courses excellent cuisine good staff...I stop often. Very good

01/07/2025: We passed through Gubbio in a couple of days and we went to dinner at this place for 2 nights in a row. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, the raw materials are obviously of good quality and the staff is very kind and helpful!!! We will definitely return
30/06/2025: Small, very welcoming place in the center of Gubbio where you can taste the legendary Crescia, a sort of very ancient typical focaccia, stuffed with various ingredients. Here you can also taste it with meat cooked on the grill at the moment, really delicious. Honest prices. Quantities perhaps a little small, for my stomach. The only flaw... we found it full of children and the hustle and bustle inside the place did not allow us to fully appreciate it, too bad!

09/06/2025: Well-kept place and helpful staff. Vast menu between restaurant and pizzeria options but I would like to shed some light on the excessive price for the supplement for gluten-free pizza! Even 3 EUROS OF SUPPLEMENT for a pizza on a pre-cooked base. I understand the supplement, but the most I have ever paid was €1.50 so it is an exaggeration! This means taking advantage of the health of people who unfortunately suffer from celiac disease.
