We had breakfast at this bar in early June and returned today during another camper trip. It's a little oasis, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the lake.

I only had two coffees but it is quite well equipped for the rest

We discovered Bar Ristoro Cantaplura by chance during a walk around Lake Barrea and were thrilled! The place is surrounded by greenery, with large outdoor spaces, wooden tables, and a beautiful view. Ideal for a relaxing break, even with children or four-legged friends. The menu is simple but authentic: we ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses and two first courses (fettuccine with wild boar and tagliatelle with mushrooms), everything truly delicious and beautifully served. Generous portions and quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic and familiar, no-frills but authentic. Fair prices, excellent value. Highly recommended for those visiting Villetta Barrea and looking for a quiet and tasty break in nature. We will definitely be back!
