the experience was surprisingly positive. As the name suggests, you expect a simple, informal environment with affordable prices. And so it was: We ate a lot, spending very little, but the real surprise was the quality: definitely above expectations for a place of this type.
The service was calm, easy-going and friendly, perfectly in line with the style of the place. You don't expect formality, but rather hospitality and simplicity, and in this Bar Stadio fully hits the target.
The environment is consistent with the name: essential, informal, no frills, but authentic. A place that knows exactly what it wants to offer — and does it well.

A great little place, a little off the beaten track where the locals eat. Friendly service and fantastic food. The spaghetti cozze e pecorino was recommended by a friend. Strange, as Italians would never put parmesan on seafood. My husband had spaghetti alle vongole - a little bit spicy. The fritto misto al mare had a large variety of fish (we had been warned to share). Portions were plentiful, all the food was absolutely delicious and half a carafe of good wine washed it down nicely. Excellent food and excellent value.

The staff is friendly, kind (not a given in the area). The place has undergone a metamorphosis already seen for others. From a place with affordable prices frequented by locals, to a tourist place with tourist prices. €43 per person for 12 for appetizer samples, 2 first course samples and a dessert. Drinking draft beer and water. In my opinion, even net of the general increase in catering, it is excessive for where you are.

Siamo stati oggi con una coppia di amici a pranzo. Che dire a Viareggio trovare un posto non di grandi pretese ma come piace a noi, con prezzi buoni e qualità ottima. Preso due primi buonissimi, un mare caldo completo e abbondante, due fritti uno normale e uno completo vino acqua coperto in quattro 100 euro. Ma la qualità e le porzioni sono abbondanti e di qualità. Una bella scoperta che torneremo per assaggiare il resto prenotando per tempo in quanto pieno di commensali visto quanto sopra. Sì è un bar modesto con posti interni e esterni ma non fa la differenza quando esci soddisfatto per una ottimo pranzo ad un prezzo nella norma. Grazie bravi e a presto

È sempre una garanzia. Se poi si ha la possibilità dj andare fuori stagione e a pranzo è il massimo. Sono famosi per il fritto, che è straordinario sia per qualità che per quantità a 16 o 18 euro con e senza lische. Almeno noi non ce la facciamo a prendere primo e secondo. Ambiente spartano.
