Very welcoming place with typical mountain furnishings. Typical Piedmontese home-made cuisine, dishes presented in a modern way, beautiful to look at and good to eat. Staff attentive to customer care and the best advice on wines to accompany the dishes. An excellent reference point for Macugnaga.

A restaurant that is always a guarantee! The dishes are delicious, full of flavor and carefully prepared. Management is always friendly and attentive, making each visit an enjoyable experience. It is undoubtedly our favorite place!

Fantastic restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasant both inside and outside with a spectacular view. In every dish you can perceive the attention to detail and the love of those who prepared it. Impeccable service, the guys who served us were super nice and helpful in everything. We will definitely return.

Ristorante molto carino e ben curato. Cucina ottima. Piatti cucinati bene e con ingredienti di qualità. La nota dolente è il servizio, sicuramente da migliorare; abbiamo atteso invano che arrivasse qualcuno a portarci del pane. I camerieri dovrebbero essere maggiormente presenti in sala per accertarsi che tutto stia procedendo per il meglio. Toilette pulite.

Il ristorante si trova in un' ottima posizione ed è molto bene curato. Personale professionale e gentilissimo il cibo era a dir poco delizioso e il proprietario molto gentile e competente,ottimo intenditore di vini. In poche parole esperienza veramente da non perdere

26/05/2025: Sunday lunch. Large place, like those of the past. Smiling and friendly service. Calamarata and fried 10-rings. Excellent coffee too. More than fair price. Well done
23/05/2025: Attentive to food intolerances, fast and courteous service, excellent dishes (especially the risotto, cooked practically on request) and well presented. Pleasant atmosphere and clean and tidy services. Well disposed to welcome 4-legged friends and the possibility of having lunch outside in the summer. Well separated rooms, the bar customers do not disturb those having lunch and vice versa. Relaxing atmosphere, without intrusive television screens or radios with the volume at maximum. Overall a very pleasant surprise, worth a return!

14/05/2025: Trattoria “La Botte” is a true gem! The food was absolutely amazing - homemade, full of flavor, and deeply rooted in local tradition. The charismatic owner brings so much warmth and character to the place; it’s clear this is a real family-run labor of love. Everything felt authentic, welcoming, and simply top-notch. We will definitely be back!
