I spent five days in Volta Mantovana for the international speleology meeting and went here for lunch. A lovely place, delicious food, truly unique dishes (I had the fish ones), friendly staff, and super fast service. Excellent!

The atmosphere is classic, spacious, clean, and tidy. Delicious pizzas made with quality ingredients. The paella was plentiful and delicious. What was pleasantly surprising was the professionalism, attentiveness, and thoughtfulness of Jacopo, the dynamic and very polite waiter.

We had lunch based on two series: two spaghetti with clams, one with lobster, one with clams and prawns, a grilled shellfish, a mixed fried fish, water, wine, coffee, everything was good and we paid 40 euros each.

Truly remarkable! I'd been reluctant to eat local raw fish for years. I never thought I'd eat it so far from the sea, and it's so fresh and delicious.

The food was good, the bruschetta was considerably larger than what you'd expect in Germany. Very good Italian pizza.
We sat outside. The waiters sometimes paid us limited attention, perhaps due to their lack of English. Due to the traffic and the large number of guests, it was very noisy. A man at the next table was talking loudly on his phone, but the staff didn't do anything.
Since it was too much and too loud for us, we had our pizza packed up and sat in peace at the campsite.
It would certainly be better on a less crowded day or indoors!
