08/11/2025: We were at Braseria last night!
Four friends left Genoa with high expectations and returned home full of excitement!
The place is very cute, the kitchen is open and the refrigerators are displayed right at the entrance to the room. The staff is young, friendly, approachable, unobtrusive, but always on point!
On the advice of the head waiter, we ordered a selection of mixed appetizers (each better than the last...), a 1.7kg beef ribeye, and a selection of BBQ appetizers. But not content with that, we added another beef ribeye, about 1.2kg! And then, of course, dessert! I don't want to go on and on, I'll just say that everything was excellent! The meat was AMAZING, and a special mention goes to the giardiniera and a couple of truly sublime appetizers!
What I particularly liked was the fact that we were NOT asked to cook the meat. And I totally agree with that, because they are the professionals and they know how to cook meat!
The only downside...the wine cellar. In my opinion, there's little selection and little research into the product. I'm obviously talking about the mid- to low-end labels, say €25 to €45, which are the ones I can afford. If you go higher, you'll find top-notch wines, but they're clearly well beyond the average customer's budget.
Total price €750.00, which I find absolutely proportionate to what we ate and drank!
05/11/2025: Business lunch. We left satisfied. The meat was excellent, but the entrée and dessert were also very good. Impeccable service.
