Hosts are very attentive to customers. I had dinner multiple nights and it was very delicious.

Restaurant serving excellent local cuisine, with a wonderful view of the portal of the Duomo. Excellent quality local products. The enthusiasm and competence of the owner make lunch pleasant.

Excellent Sicilian cuisine to try

This restaurant is definitely worth the detour. Perched in a magnificent village we tasted traditional Sicilian cuisine. Homemade with fresh produce, it's generous cuisine, an explosion of flavors. Don't pass by without stopping there.

The location is enchanting in this medieval village in the hinterland of Barcelona. View of the Cathedral square of Castroreale. The tradition-based menu features a delicious breaded soft-boiled egg starter on a base of ramps. Followed by a tasting of local cured meats and cheeses and delicious vegetables from caramelized onion to gratin cauliflower, from baked fennel to stewed chard. The first course was excellent with maccheroni castrensi with lamb sauce. And even baked lamb with fennel and a side dish of potatoes and carrots. To finish, colomba with Chantilly cream and strawberry sauce. The price is really competitive. The welcome and accompaniment of the dishes by a fabulous host Diego was excellent.
