Today I had the opportunity to taste some truly sublime dishes at the Mecci restaurant in Livata and I can, at least in my humble opinion, that with my family we tasted wonderful dishes surrounded by discreet courtesy, and finally I can say that quality and price is duly equaled, we will return

It feels like a leap into the past, like being in the 80s. Really very good food, many varieties of polenta and first courses, they also give us set menus. The only downside is the quite slow service. Otherwise highly recommended.

I was there in August…. Like at home, even better. Excellent meat, pizzas such as can now be found in few places, the fine Roman ones. Hospitality and service...that make you feel truly welcome. Of course, if you are looking for a chic place, this is not the place for you, but if you want to spend an evening in peace among nature, looking at the vastness of the mountains and eating well... you are in the right place. I will definitely come back

11/03/2025: Actually I went to the bar to have a coffee. Very nice bar, they also sell cigars and cigarettes, mediocre coffee, perhaps since it was early in the morning the machine had to be running or something else must have happened. I hope the property invites me to drink a free coffee. May it be better though!
04/03/2025: I was for dinner. Location and unique view of the restaurant. Good food but a little elaborate and nouvelle cuisine type, very small portions. A seafood appetizer, a first and second course, a glass of wine, water; total for two 120 euros. If we had had a bottle of wine and eaten to eat we would have spent at least 180 euros for two, 90 euros each. So expensive for me. I would improve by making slightly larger portions and cooking with fewer frills. The cost for the restaurant would be more or less the same but it would be a better customer experience and they would also have more demand. In my opinion! However, a positive experience mostly due to the location.
