A last-minute visit to Verona because of its proximity to Lake Garda... we simply stopped in for lunch outside without planning... 3 pizzas, 4 drinks, and an espresso - we were really pleased! The location is close to Romeo and Juliet's balcony, with a large market square full of city visitors - it's a bit busier there, but you know that when you go - so the location is extremely central, the service was quick, but not exactly a welcoming atmosphere - but then again, they don't have a relaxed job there... Tip: in the restaurant, go through to the inner courtyard, there are plenty of chairs... If you eat the classics, the price is okay... so it's all OK!

It was okay... The food was decent, as was the service, and given the location in the center of the old town, you have to expect the prices.
Look a little further afield, though, and you'll find better ambiance and food.
They definitely didn't skimp on the truffles, though :)

I don't understand most of the negative reviews. If you decide to eat in the main square, you'll just have to pay more than usual. The service was friendly and the food was delicious.

This is a nice restaurant in the middle of Verona just really at the plaza. They served good seafood . and I ordered a seafood pasta and it was marvelous !!! sooo yummy! staff are nice .

Wonderful staff and foid is delicious and priced normal...we lived it...we had pizzas and spaghetti carbonara...it was so good...the only thing ...it was a very hot day and the mineral water was warm...they put some icd in the glass but it melted right away...and only one bathroom...but its the food that counts...the hostes was super nice and she explained everything to us...but we never complicate things anyway so...thank you for a great lunch...coming back on our next visit.

I was in Verona with two friends passing through we were visiting the center of Verona, we found ourselves in Piazza delle Erbe with praise to have an aperitif and we decided to sit in this little restaurant, we first had an aperitif and then lunch ... the waiters very courteous, professional, friendly they know how to put you at ease and try to satisfy your every request. The food very good we had a trio of polenta and pizza all very good. The kitchen is open. A place that I recommend and where I would gladly return.
