16/10/2025: We visited this country trattoria on a Sunday in October for lunch for a family celebration; there were eight of us.
The atmosphere is simple but very welcoming, frequented by many young people (some at small, cheerful but not rowdy tables). The staff is equally young, extremely kind, efficient, and truly knowledgeable, both in terms of food and wine.
The menu is modest (and appropriately so): 5-6 appetizers, 5-6 main courses (both first and second courses, plus polenta), cheeses, and desserts.
You can always opt for at least one vegetarian option, but the menu features a strong focus on meat, especially the fifth quarter, which is prepared excellently and according to tradition.
The wine list, while not overly extensive, is dedicated to small, "artisanal" labels, very original and interesting.
We had a wonderful time in a welcoming, relaxed, and relaxing atmosphere, where you can enjoy well-prepared traditional food and fine wines, all at reasonable prices.
I recommend it (even if there's no need because it's very well known) and I will definitely go back!
