We were there a couple of weeks ago... All in all I have to say everything was good... Helpful staff... Maybe but that's okay. Prices a little high...

The owner is extremely kind and helpful, demonstrating extreme professionalism and customer service. He provided us with valuable information on where to go to safely complete our Etna excursion. Due to heavy snow, we weren't able to get to the restaurant, but we'll definitely be back as soon as we can!

Crateri Silvestri is the best restaurant on Etna! A welcoming location with a bright bar area and souvenir corner (where you can purchase authentic local artisanal pieces), a dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a unique view in both summer and winter. Impeccable service from the staff, always helpful and smiling. The daily menu offers truly interesting dishes, showcasing traditional Sicilian cuisine and a careful selection of ingredients. I absolutely recommend the pistachio-filled margheritas (fresh pasta), and the meat-based main courses are exceptional! The desserts are also worth a mention in this review, from the homemade cakes and tarts to the famous ricotta cannoli. In short, if you visit Etna, you can't miss this historic location, whether for a hot chocolate, a sausage sandwich, or a mouth-watering lunch.

I had lunch at this restaurant by chance (on a Sunday). The appetizer was excellent, and everything else was very good. Excellent value. Fast service despite the crowds.

We went for lunch on New Year's Eve. A la carte menu with a special of the day. We chose various dishes and were all satisfied. Quality home-made food and homemade desserts. Compliments for both the quality and the service. We had been there before, but several years ago. I'm happy to review this place.

Had lunch here after hiking. Tried 3 kinds of spaghetti as a family and all were perfect. The view is amazing snd the prices astoundinly affordable considering this tourist-top-spot. Many thanks from us!

A great view of the sea and the beach. We only had a few drinks and a couple of appetizers, but they were very good. Everyone who served us was super friendly and accommodating. Especially Antonio, who made our stay special and gave us great recommendations. Definitely recommend it!
