Good food (I recommend ghenefle and homemade cakes), excellent service (very kind), beautiful location with wooden tables for eating outside and deckchairs for sunbathing

Truly fantastic place....super location and view....excellent homemade food....excellent service and available to satisfy our requests.....if you don't have an off-road vehicle or an off-road motorbike you have to make a walk of about 10 minutes....it goes up quite a bit but it's worth getting there and having a nice meal of top products

Location stupenda e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi con una breve escursione (anche se si può arrivare pure in auto). Cucina ottima e personale gentilissimo. Con la nuova gestione abbiamo notato un evidente miglioramento del servizio. Consigliatissimo… Da provare!!!

Today I'll tell you about a refuge that in the middle of the mountains of Sestriere can offer you an excellent restaurant, bar and private party service all year round: recently renovated under new management, I recommend it in the summer as a stopover between your excursions and in winter between one ski trip and another! Personally I enjoyed an excellent polenta concia with deer and the wine was also of high quality!

17/08/2024: I was in Sauze and I took the opportunity to go to Scacco Mate, a place recommended by a friend of mine. The evening was pleasant, there was even a conference which I certainly found interesting. The staff is friendly and helpful, and above all with a great desire to talk and work. Before the presentation I was served by a kind and friendly guy with whom I had a chat. If I find myself in Sauze you will definitely see me again!!!

02/11/2024: We have eaten there many times now. Piedmontese food, but with proposals from other regions too. The menu changes often and respects the seasonality of the ingredients. Friendly, helpful and very courteous staff. Really relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely worth trying! Parking inside the structure.
