We stopped for a quick snack while on a motorcycle. We ordered a plate of mixed cold cuts with cheese and excellent dips, along with two tasty glasses of wine. The guys who run the place are friendly and welcoming. We'll be back to enjoy the grilled food we saw served to other diners.

We visited Trattoria Buongustaio in Refrontolo after hearing great things about it... and our expectations were confirmed! The place is truly charming and welcoming, with a warm, family atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and always smiling. They carefully explained the menu to us and even suggested some off-menu dishes. The complimentary appetizer (a tartare) was a wonderful surprise. We had the fried shrimp, accompanied by a truly original and refreshing apple and ginger granita. The egg tagliatelle with ossobuco ragù was delicious, as was the rib eye steak, tender and well-cooked. At the end of the meal, we were also offered a complimentary house liqueur—a much-appreciated touch. Everything was excellent: the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!
