Hotels and restaurants next to the railway station are usually not very interesting, but here was such a nice surprise!! Literally 5 minutes from the train station, right after crossing the Barefoot Bridge - Ponte degli Scalzi, there is this restaurant. I highly recommend it! Just remember that the "kitchen" accepts orders until 2:30 p.m.!

The BEST meal of our entire Italian vacation! Suggested by our tour guide on our last night. The food was amazing and different. We had two entrees a piece plus appetizers and desserts because everything was so delicious! The waitress was exceptional, helping us tourists choose tasty dishes and wine. Definitely not a ‘tourist trap’. If hope one day we can get back to Venice, we will run to this restaurant!! A must try!

Super and different experience than usual. We stayed one evening in mid-September. I specify that we are from Venice. Excellent service, the menus were explained to us in detail. The dishes have a Venetian base with a particular twist that makes for an out of the ordinary experience. Truly excellent flavors, beyond expectations!

We had dinner at Vittoria last night, a very pretty restaurant, the people are adorable, the cuisine is just magical (Michelin, give them a star!), in short, a perfect moment! Go there with your eyes closed! Thanks again for this great evening!

Quaint place close to the station. Food is sensational. The people working there are awesome. We enjoyed the pairing of wine they suggested for our food. We would recommend and visit this place if we got another opportunity to travel to Venice.

Great atmosphere with contemporary jazz in the background, this fun find is a blend of tradition and innovation, this was the place to move past typical pastas and embrace the chef’s vision. We started out with a fried fish appetizer served with potato foam. The tiny fish were coated with a whiff of breading so they had the slightest crunch. The potato foam was almost like a light mayonnaise. Our main courses were the Cod Ravioli and the Quail with figs and lard. The cod, in an al dente ravioli, was served with a tasty coconut milk sauce. The Quail was flavorful, crisp, and perfectly complimented by the figs. Our server suggested a Venetian Blanco that balanced perfectly with the Cod. We were so intrigued and pleased at this point that we had to have dessert. We chose the Chocolate Craquelin, which was delicious. Resembling a macaron, cafe gelato was in the middle of cream mascarpone, on a bed of crumbled coffee, with warm caramel poured over top.
