Excellent food, commendable service, location could be better

Private restaurant. The waiter was very kind and professional. Good food, shame about the sea urchins being a bit bland, and if I could make a suggestion for improvement, I'd say the zucchini in the Nerano di Mare should have been a little undercooked, as it tasted a bit bitter. The bread and tarallini were excellent.

A simply perfect day at Gassa d’Amare. We had dinner for two, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. We began with appetizers, Tony's Tavolozza, a true journey through the flavors of the sea: carefully prepared, plentiful, and made with the highest-quality ingredients. The first course was spectacular: a revisited version of garlic and oil that surprises and captivates, enhanced by a fresh, balanced, and elegant shrimp tartare. Next, an exceptional fried fish platter: dry, light, and made with fish of rare freshness. The desserts, truly excellent, rounded off the dinner in the best possible way. All accompanied by a bottle of sparkling rosé, recommended by the waiter: a perfect choice, perfect for enhancing each dish. A special mention goes to the service: extremely friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable, capable of making you feel at home without ever being intrusive. A restaurant that combines the highest quality, creativity, and meticulous customer service. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A nice little place with a menu to discover.....one better than the other

Excellent seafood restaurant in Bari, in the CUS/Fiera del Levante area. We went there for New Year's Eve lunch, and despite it being a set menu, I couldn't find any flaws. Everything was excellent, with the freshest fish. I highly recommend it!

I had a divine meal at this seafood restaurant! The quality-price ratio is excellent, and you can immediately sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients. The appetizers were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, each one better than the last. The raw fish was delicious and fresh. Everything else on the menu was top-notch: from appetizer to dessert, there wasn't a single flaw. The dishes were tasty, well-cooked, and the portions were just right. A truly pleasant experience, absolutely recommended for those who love good seafood and want to eat well without spending a fortune. I'll definitely be back! 🐟✨

La Gassa d'Amante is a hidden gem inside the CUS Bari...for several years, it's been my favorite place for good seafood. The indoor dining area is small and cozy, and in the summer, you can dine al fresco just steps from the marina. The food is exquisite, the presentation is beautiful, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The staff is always courteous and helpful...and last but not least, the prices are in line with the quality offered and never excessive. If you love good seafood, La Gassa could be a pleasant surprise. I almost forgot...if you like spaghetti all'assassina, try it!
