I was there the other night; it's a simple but impressive place. Various menu, excellent tordelli with ragù, and good pizza! Reservations are recommended; it's a popular place! I highly recommend it!

Siamo stati in questa pizzeria nella Piazza di Strettoia con amici , siamo rimasti soddisfatti sia dell’accoglienza che delle pizze servite. Il locale è semplice , accogliente e pulito.Pizze buone, ma servono anche i tordelli , che abbiamo diviso per assaggio e devo dire ottimi. Prezzo qualità ottimo . Consigliato

Tordelli al ragù all'altezza della reputazione estremamente positiva del locale; una conferma. Ma non solo perché anche i dolci, fatti in casa, sono stati uno spettacolo, soprattutto il tiramisù. Molto molto bene: prezzo quasi incredibile a tal punto che ho creduto si trattasse di un errore.

08/12/2025: I asked my neighbors in San Concordio where they like to get a pizza and it's easy to see why they told me to go to here. This is a classic, proper place to get pizza in Lucca. It's not Napoletano-style pizza, but a more proper local/Tuscan style. It's delicious and priced extremely well. I recommend only getting the larger pizza if you're going to split it with someone. Otherwise, the smaller size is great for an individual. They also have slices if that's all you need or if you want to try a couple different types! Expect a 10 to 15 minute wait for the pizza to be cooked.
31/10/2025: I went today after touring the Comics Fair, and I have to say the pizza I ate was truly excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

14/07/2025: A takeout-only pizzeria, for us it's THE pizza! (Suffice it to say that we're willing to drive 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back at least a couple of times a month...). It must be said that it's a unique pizza, with a wide crust, long-rising dough, and—at least for us—exclusively Calabrian ingredients (grilled vegetables, spicy sausage, 'nduja, scamorza, chili pepper, spianata Calabrian, etc.). They also offer pizzas and calzones with classic ingredients. The calzones are excellent, as are the pizzas, all of which are generously sized (we usually order three between five of us) and at very competitive prices. For us, it's a regular stop that we always look forward to!
12/07/2025: The terrace is beautiful; we weren't able to use it, but we called at the last minute and they welcomed us inside. Delicious food and truly friendly staff. This is the part of Calabria we love; we were welcomed right at home, with home-made flavors and excellent value. We stumbled upon it by chance, and highly recommend it.
