Bar Petrarca In Firenze

Stumbled across this lovely little coffee shop with a lovely outdoor seating area in a garden. Delicious pastries and coffee and cold drinks brought to us with ice as we were hot and dry. Very friendly staff.

I went there for dinner to eat something I had never eaten at FIORENTINA, FRIED STEAK!!! It was a thrill because it was tender inside and crispy outside, excellent breading, and an ideal solution to alternate the classic grilled steak, I will definitely return. Impeccable service, and an outdoor garden where you can finish the evening in front of an excellent glass of wine.

Great find. Had breakfast here. All the locals seem to use it, so you know it’s good, and staff all so friendly and kind. Coffee the best we have had in Florence on this trip too. Had to have two! 💯 visit. And garden out the back is pretty and cool

Wide selection of sweet and savory.. I went there in the morning for breakfast and found it very crowded, consequently also very noisy. It is very spacious so potentially, except during rush hour, it could also be a place to stop to work and eat something extra during the day.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Our Italian is almost non existent so negotiating medium rare for the meat was a mission but it came perfectly cooked. Pasta also very nice and simple. We are in the area for a few days, so will likely return.

Very friendly staff, work in a most efficient way while still being bright and welcoming. We had an espresso, a cappuccino and a ham and cheese sandwich which were all decent. Lots of gluten free options, vegan options sadly not so much.

Excellent location for meeting friends out of town.

So happy to find this place when we were waiting at Porta Romana for our to gather. Open early when all the other places were closed, which helped. Nice clean organized interior. Gets busy quick. Great food selections to grab a quick bite. Nice espressos. Definitely recommend!
