Just left the place. Nice atmosphere, no doubt about it, more elegant than the bar I remember and frequented until the 2000s, since I lived a stone's throw away. Excellent coffee, but 1.50 seems excessive for a macchiato. Unpleasant experience due to an employee who pretended not to know me despite my cordial greeting. After all, politeness isn't for everyone. Otherwise, the staff was smiling and friendly.

A warm, modern, and welcoming place. The drinks are a bit pricey, but still reasonable. We were a little disappointed with the welcome and didn't feel welcome... Too bad.

Don't be fooled by the Facebook page (July 2025) that is represented at Cafe Petrarca (FI)...it is the page of the former owners and the Cafe IS NOT CLOSED. In fact, they have amazing hours! And good food...wonderful source of a good salad, if you're looking for it. But their menu offers a lot of other choices. The food is good and the service is great. And they have remodeled and upgraded the garden in the back. The space is a little more neon than my taste, but it is nice as a "clean, well-lighted space" in a modern style...well done for its choice of design. I've eaten there more than once.

Se encontró con esta pequeña cafetería encantadora con una hermosa zona de estar al aire libre en un jardín. Deliciosa bollería y café y bebidas frías nos trajeron con hielo ya que estábamos calientes y secos. Personal muy amable.

11/08/2025: Huge pizza called AMICI for 6 people, delicious both in terms of dough and ingredients. Quick and accurate. We ate outside in a beautiful location; the owner also came out and is very friendly and attentive to the customer. I will definitely be back because it's worth it.
27/07/2025: Excellent pizza—the best!—excellent first courses, grilled meat and vegetables, generous portions, a highly recommended stop! Be sure to call ahead, especially for the pizzas...

Fiaschetteria di pesce

14/09/2025: Excellent quality fish, delicious raw seafood, and special first courses (the spaghetti with raw and cooked shrimp is a special highlight). Generous portions. The restaurant is small but very welcoming, with excellent service and a good wine selection.
30/07/2025: Yesterday I tried the Fiaschetteria fish restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The owner was super friendly and easygoing, making the place feel familiar and welcoming even though it was my first time there. The place itself is small but extremely charming and elegant. Finally, the food was excellent. We had: Mussels marinara (superb and highly recommended) A shucked mussel from the Fiaschetteria (an excellent first course and also highly recommended) A scallop and zucchini risotto (good but perhaps a little lacking in salt) To finish, a fried fish dish, which I forgot to photograph (also very good and delicious). One of the restaurant's strengths, or at least some of the owner's unusual touches, was his willingness to share the two dishes himself, as soon as he realized the mussels and fried fish would be shared, obviously asking us when we ordered. We finished the meal with two glasses of wine and a water, bringing the total to €88 for two—a fair price for the dishes and the quality of the fresh fish, displayed in a specially insulated refrigerated unit. We left the restaurant feeling extremely satisfied and contented, and we'll definitely be back to relive this wonderful experience.
