Delicious pastries, but on Sunday mornings, the place is inaccessible, like a service station on August 15th (well, the delicious pastries are obviously attractive, but there's a line for the pasta and then another line for the coffee...). Maybe at other times it's quieter, but it's still incredibly expensive: two euros for a "chizza" is outrageous. Two coffees and two pastries are almost €8.

I ordered a cake for my birthday. Communication with Sara was direct and very clear. The cake was made as described and was truly beautiful and delicious ☺️ Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

Tabarin Osteria Popolare

12/10/2025: A centrally located restaurant with outdoor seating under a beautiful arcade that connects to the main square. Excellent service and a charming setting. The extensive menu features local specialties (the gnocco fritto is top-notch, as are the accompanying cold cuts) and traditional regional dishes. Prices are in line with the quality of the food. Definitely worth a try.
12/10/2025: In the center of Reggio Emilia, this osteria serves well-prepared dishes, both traditional and unusual. The staff is friendly and never pushy, and the prices are fair. Try it and then return. My father-in-law hadn't eaten frogs in years and was very satisfied.
