stumbled upon this place by chance and was absolutely delighted. The service was fast and attentive, with a fantastic selection of traditional Italian pastries and excellent coffee. My top pick: the sfogliatella—perfectly crisp with a delicate filling. I also loved the ricottina, with its cookie-like dough, creamy ricotta filling, chocolate chips, and raisins. Just wow!

Busy popular bakery with super tasty baked goods. I don’t think you can go wrong. Got a random baked good and an almond cup thing. It doesn’t matter what you get, just get two things because it’s better than one. This was one of the better bakeries I had, the service was very quick. Managed to get a table despite it being so busy. A popular place with the locals.

Perfetto! This is a belated, but well deserved review. We visited Bologna in October 2024 and absolutely fell in love with this place. So much so we came here for breakfast and an afternoon espresso ‘al banco’ every day of our trip. We loved chatting to the lady behind the bar despite, our terrible Italian! The barista from Argentina was also incredibly friendly. The coffee was fantastic and every pastry we tried was delicious - very good almond cake and ferro de cavalo! An authentic Italian experience not to be missed. I will be straight here for an espresso when I’m back in Bologna!

It's my favorite pastry shop at the moment. Discovered by chance. As soon as I get to Bologna it will be a regular stop.
