15/11/2025: We stopped in for a midweek lunch and were happy to have made a wonderful discovery. I enjoyed the homemade pasta (very good gnocchi) and the homemade desserts (a persimmon and chestnut coppa), which were truly appreciated. We'll be back to try the rest. The chef is very open to small "adjustments," which was much appreciated.
08/11/2025: Finding a flaw in Locanda Del Cont is impossible, or rather, found: it's not far enough from Moncalieri, where I live, to quell the temptation to return 1,000 more times. I travel a lot to restaurants for my job, but finding a place with heart and substance like Locanda del Cont is truly difficult. Great attention to the raw materials, always a smile on the faces of the people who work there, and excellent presentation of the dishes. Wonderful veal with tuna sauce, amazing flan, delicious lard with chestnuts, inimitable tajarin with truffles in shape and flavor, wonderful braised cheek, and tiramisu, both traditional and deconstructed, delicious. Congratulations, you are truly amazing! See you soon.
