An excellent little restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food, the staff is kind and friendly, the meat and sausage are really good. We also enjoyed an excellent dessert, the price, around €20, was really affordable. PROMOTED!

Excellent place to have lunch, we took the fixed menu (€12 per person) with the addition of wine, dessert and coffee for a total of around twenty euros each and we left satisfied with everything.

My husband and I had lunch in this tavern, we didn't expect such good food. The first courses (lasagna and fresh pasta with bran peppers) are exquisite. Well seasoned, balanced and plentiful. We tasted the baked aubergine parmigiana and the potatoes, which were delicious. Excellent experience for a break during the visit to the Sassi of Matera. Compliments! A special mention for the attentive and super courteous service. Honest prices.

Buono. Buono Staff is incredibly helpful! We had a great time, talking bout purpose and passion. The cooker loves singing and you can see he is enjoying by looking at his eyes.

09/02/2025: We were a couple of friends and we ordered two pizzas, which overall were good. However, one of them arrived without two ingredients, which surprised us, especially considering it was a Saturday. The waitress informed us of the error only after taking the somewhat disorganized order. The place has a typical tavern atmosphere, welcoming but nothing special. The service was correct, but overall the experience was not memorable. Three stars, with room for improvement.
08/12/2024: We ate yesterday at this tavern and I must say that we were very impressed. Very kind waiters, quick and friendly service and typical traditional Matera dishes done very well. It is not located in the tourist area, in fact the customers were mostly people from the area. As mentioned above, very positive experience. Advised

09/09/2024: Lido located in a protected natural reserve in Metaponto. All around are expanses of sand, a truly beautiful discovery, spacious between one umbrella and another, guaranteed relaxation. Restaurant with good food and a well-stocked bar 👍
