A Home Away From Home - The Perfect Café! My wife and I were looking for a place to work remotely for a few days, and we couldn't have found a more perfect spot than Café Bar Oriente. This place is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with incredible warmth. The atmosphere is wonderfully familial, and all the staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming. You can tell it's a well-run establishment, as the owners are always present, greeting guests with a smile and ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Their attentiveness truly makes a difference. For anyone looking for a "mobile office," this café is ideal. We spent our days working here comfortably, fueled by some of the best espresso we've had. Beyond the coffee, they offer a range of delicious delicacies. You absolutely must try the pistachio croissant – it's soft and has a generous, creamy filling. I also recommend trying the "Tette delle Monache" ("Nun's Puffs"), a delightful local cream-filled pastry. Everything about our experience was very good, right down to the clean restrooms. It’s a huge plus for tourists that some of the waiters are English-speaking and are all-around nice guys. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit. Bar Oriente stands out for its refined and pleasant image. The environment is welcoming and I particularly appreciated the works of art on display, which contribute to creating an original and interesting atmosphere. It is a pleasure to enjoy a coffee or a drink surrounded by so much beauty and creativity. The attention to aesthetics makes this bar a special place in Bisceglie. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to try Acqua San Benedetto Millenium water and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially considering the affordable price of just one euro. It's a great way to enjoy something good in such a pleasant environment.

The breakfast pastries are excellent, the babà cream is wonderful, with the ancient flavor of homemade ones made with lemon zest, but the Nutella tart is exceptional. It's completely different from any other tart I've ever bought: a fresh shortcrust pastry shell, a bed of Nutella, and a top layer of soft, buttery sponge cake covered in chocolate chips. A surprise! I absolutely have to try the mango version, too. The pastry chefs are brilliant, I love you. 👏👏👏
