When traveling, especially abroad, and you find your perfect neighborhood place, it feels like home. While in Argegno for several days, Bar Motta became our regular. From cappuccinos in the morning to appertivo time in the afternoon, we felt ourselves drawn to this little gem! The staff were friendly and gracious and we happy to suggest local wines and provided exceptional service. We will truly miss this place when we go home!

We've had aperitifs there several times. They offer a superb local wine, "Brigante," in both white and red. The servers are friendly, pleasant, and professional. The platters that accompany the drinks are truly varied, generous, and delicious! A wonderful discovery, thank you!

Great restaurant, hole in the wall restaurant! Very nice good, nice creamy cheese pizzas. Homely service and equally affordable compared to all the restaurants in that neighborhood. Felt like a local joint where ppl gather to have a good time. Worth a visit!!! Another Highlight … very well maintained washrooms !!!

A hiddrn gem, ...we as a family were driving to bellagio...when we stopped near motta...for some bite with zero expectation But with the way we were served and taken care...and by the quality of food...we were suprised Pizzas were absolutely amazing....so was the black coffee.... We started comparing all our food/ pizza with them.... They become a benchmark for rest of trip... And top it all....very clean washroom...

09/03/2026: They welcomed us without having to book, we ate and drank very well, they even gave us a piece of bread produced by them which we had praised.
01/03/2026: We were welcomed with such kindness and genuine warmth. The meal was excellent, thanks to the chef's numerous pizza awards! One of the best places we visited in Italy. It's well worth the trip, both for the delicious flavors and the attentive service. At the end, the chef took the time to explain and demonstrate how he makes his pizzas. Furthermore, the staff is cheerful and makes an effort to be understood, even trying to speak French. Highly recommended!
