Great location. Friendly service and delicious refined dishes. We had breakfast here every day and also had dinner a few times in the evening. Julia is a perfect hostess and a super good cook. Friendly, always attentive and cheerful. Her brother is also very friendly and hospitable. If we are in Lucca again we will definitely come here again!!

Open relatively early for morning cappuccino. The coffee is very good, the welcome is friendly and the quiet terrace is very pleasant. Choice of pastries and sandwiches for a snack. Very clean.

This is a lovely neighborhood cafe. You can get a coffee and cornetto and watch the world go by. It is great for a quick lunch or an aperitivo in the evening. But what really stands out are the owners. The airlines lost my luggage and then sent a driver to deliver it. He couldn't find how to get to me and Giulia, the owner, took my phone and talked him in. She then walked me to meet him to secure my luggage. She is the beauty of travel. I went to Bar Martini most days and felt like family. Upon leaving I wanted to take her picture and she said no that I had her heart instead. She certainly has mine. If you want a true experience of great food and great people stop by Bar Martini, you will not be disappointed!

I am often having an Italian breakfast there, cappuccino, coffee and a croissant (cornetto in Italian). Cappuccino is made with fresh milk, cornettos are fresh and coffee (espresso) tastes good. A choice of three newspapers (all Italian). Service is friendly, in the Italian/European way, which may appear a bit “unfriendly” to people coming from countries outside Europe. I usually pay around 4 euros for a cappucino, coffee and a cornetto, depending on the type of cornetto I order.
