Bar Luce In Milano

Absurd prices but the sight of the waiter Matteo didn't make me think about it

Been dreaming about visiting this place since it’s opened! Didn’t have that many expectations for the food, but it was really nice! Bread in the sandwiches wasn’t too thick and the filling was really good. Got some pastries to go and they were really nice as well

The bar is good, the service very good. We ordered two negronis and a beer, the price is expensive, but they gave us an appetizer. We went because we visited Fondazione Prada. If you just want to go to the bar, it's a little far from the center.

The place is beautiful, visually pleasing and the food was pretty good too. The only thing I was not a fan of was the prices on the menu did not match the actual price you are charged. A latte said it was $2.50, it was actually $4. A sandwich said it was $8, it was actually $11. A croissant said $3 but was $5.50. Our bill was $44 and should have cost more like $28. So that was a bit annoying, otherwise it was a very neat experience. Maybe just get a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.

Super nice place, not very cheap but prices justified by the particular location and very good service. The waiters are kind and helpful, really nice. Tasty sandwiches and quality ingredients, and you can feel it. I would say the best in the area!

PAY AT THE BAR, they are scammers do not sit at the tables. i payed 6€ for a 200ml coke zero. 6 EUROS!

Mostly special for its design by Wes Anderson and its integration into the Fondazione Prada. It’s a nice enough bar with friendly staff, most of whom are happy to help in English, as well as in Italian. It’s not as expensive as it could have been, which is a plus, but the menu is not that impressive. The actual design is also not universally great, either. I personally did not find it too impressive, feeling kind of ‘cheap’ to me, especially the patterned wallpaper, although the wood column bases looked great. But of course design and aesthetic are subjective and it may very well work for others. Overall, not too good, not too bad, but apart from the experience and bragging rights (for movie or design nerds) of having an aperitivo in a Wes Anderson designed bar / cafe, -it’s not worth going out of one’s way to visit. If however you’re at the Fondazione or near the area, -it’s not the worst place you could choose. Also, the outdoor seating directly viewing the M architecture of the exhibition spaces is nice, though it feels like an afterthought, and cut off from the indoor atmosphere

Delicious food, friendly and accommodating service. Recommmend the sandwiches (all delicious, including option for all in our large group from vegetarians to carnivores), hot chocolates and negronis. Special thanks to our waitress Mycol.

I went to bar Luce this Saturday..what a beautiful place!!!! The staff is prepared, welcoming and helpful. Excellent aperitifs! I can't wait to come back.. highly recommended!!!
