Great place for a stop and a good snack. It's out of the way, so it's very convenient. The schiacciata with porchetta was truly excellent. The schiacciata was very soft and tasty, definitely good even without anything inside. The porchetta was also really good. Prices are higher than average, but that's okay. The place is a little dated but well-kept. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I've known La Speranza, a true historic icon, for almost four decades. The selection of cured meats and cheeses is excellent, but above all, the quality of the service is combined with an unpredictable kindness that endures over time. Each sandwich is prepared with the utmost care for each customer. Not to be missed.

Beautiful place to eat local products

La Speranza is a must-stop when I pass through Colle Val d'Elsa on my way to the Maremma. Whether it's 6 in the morning or 7 p.m., the staff are always friendly, helpful, and always ready to help. The quality of the products is excellent.

Thank you for fulfilling our special requests for warm sandwiches. The olive oil I brought back as a souvenir tastes great. It's worth a visit and is also a great place for breakfast or a snack in the area. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

But the name was more fitting...: THE HOPE... to be able to return as soon as possible..!! There's ample parking next to the shop; seating is limited, but they always make sure to set up tables to accommodate you. The food is rustic, the cured meats and cheeses have Tuscan flavors. You can choose your sandwich fillings, or, like we did, opt for platters (also your choice; they put whatever you ask for). The bread and schiacciata are also very fresh, and the cakes are homemade and delicious. The service is fast, and the staff is attentive and prompt. Excellent value for money and palate satisfaction!! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back. Well done everyone!

We stopped at this bar/deli on a holiday on our way back from the Abbey of San Galgano, so it was really packed at lunchtime. After a long line, we finally managed to order our schiacciata. The ladies sliced cured meats and cheeses freshly, even the prosciutto was hand-sliced. We even managed to find a seat to enjoy our sandwich in peace. Everything was truly delicious and high-quality. Prices were reasonable.

Not "the hope" but "the certainty" of enjoying amazing sandwiches. Schiacciate and sandwiches with slices of bread (very) stuffed at the moment are delicious. The raw ham is sliced ​​by hand. Quality bread and cold cuts. The staff is truly cordial and friendly. Excellent prices. For those who happen to pass by, stopping by is a must.
