Bar La Roisette In Valtournenche

A lovely mountain restaurant, right on the ski slopes in the winter and at the starting point for numerous hikes in the summer. The owners and staff are very courteous and friendly, a rarity these days. The food is truly excellent, definitely one of the best restaurants in the valley. Opening hours are dictated by the Valtournenche cable car that connects it to the village. The view is stunning. Prices are affordable (especially considering the location).

Great food. Reasonably priced. Service is very friendly. But unfortunately, after 3 p.m., availability is very limited. Servers don't come out to take orders, and the kitchen is closed. Everyone is clearly busy cleaning. The customer is in the way. It's a shame.
