I stopped by Bar La Linea just for a quick coffee. If you're looking purely for flavor, the coffee quality is quite low and unpretentious. However, the price is exceptionally low, a real rarity these days. For this very reason, the value for money is truly excellent. If you're looking for a super-cheap stop, without worrying too much about the quality of the product, it's definitely worth the money.

A very central place in Bologna, right on Piazza Maggiore... a perfect tourist experience, but with fair prices! I highly recommend it for breakfast, although you'll have to arrive early because you might not find anything. The staff is friendly.

If you are in Bologna, this is THE place (with authentic scenery and the most modest and professional service) to taste the real Ragu. The oher dishes however are not so much recomended. This place can get busy (in August 2025) from 12h on but it is worth waiting for like half an hour.

07/05/2026: Quick lunch! The schiacciata with mortadella is excellent. Good selection of first and second courses, and side dishes. Menu options available. Friendly staff, fast service.
25/03/2026: It opens early in the morning, so I was able to start my day with a fresh sandwich and morning coffee. It is a cafe with a great atmosphere. The staff were also very kind in taking my order. I think I will be visiting often during my trip.
