Yes it's a tourist magnet and we only went there for drinks BUT...the staff were excellent and the hard-pressed Victor was exceptional. Note to Management: he really needs a sunhat even in early April. Peroni is Peroni wherever you may be but the Prosecco was lovely; full of flavour and if I hadn't forgotten to ask for the brand name I'd buy a few bottles in an instant.

Tenía la pasta de tomate y era sublime. No pude terminarlo ya que tenía una porción de adulto. Me encantaba sentarme afuera a la sombra viendo pasar el mundo. Mamá comió la ensalada cesar que tiene anchoas (yuck) pero ella lo disfrutó y mi papá tomó una pizza de cuatro quesos como de costumbre.

In the heart of the piazza of Cortona is a lively pub that is active most of the hours of the day. Full of young guys crowding it, most of the drinks, wine and more. Very fair prices.

Even tho the location seems great it’s over prices for a breakfast. It was good but not exceptional. If you have a lot of money to spend go for it but there’s cheaper option that are just as good or better.

Good restaurant, excellent menu, good service too but above all it's like being in the front row at the theater: you are in front of one of the most iconic historic squares in the world!

27/04/2025: Bella serata in un ambiente piacevole ed accogliente. Il servizio è stato un po' lento, ma cordiale. Attenti sulla scelta del vino. Alcune pietanze si sono dimostrate eccellenti ,come la tartare, altre un po' meno, come il cervo, addirittura un poco duretto e poco saporito. Molto buoni risotto e tortelli, buono il lingotto di cioccolato, meno il tortino alla farina di castagna. I prezzi sono un pochino alti per il risultato finale dei piatti che sarebbero ambiziosi, ma in alcuni casi disattendono le aspettative.
02/01/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata di fine anno. Il menù di San Silvestro era perfetto per i nostri gusti, con un ottimo bilanciamento fra tradizione e innovazione gourmet. Ci ha colpito in particolare la professionalità e la gentilezza dello chef Simone.
