The owner, in addition to serving at the tables, has a nightingale voice!
It opens even before dawn... around 4 in the morning.
I know because, its first customers, while they stop on the sidewalk to sip the first coffee of the day....
They talk in a low voice so as not to disturb the neighbors sunk in their sleep.
the conversation, however, always turns to set the spirits on fire... the buzz becomes shouting and, at times, you can hear their conversations, not at all banal, in the darkness of your bedroom.
One client, in particular, catches my attention... he has a deep, guttural voice, he could easily work as a radio commentator, read books on the radio or simply lend his voice to an actor from overseas. ...what a formidable voice De Niro would have....
In all these years, I have never managed to put a face to that voice.
Even though, every morning they wake me up before dawn...I don't blame them, their conversations are too interesting!!!
