If you are in Bormio and want a corner of normality in the midst of so much arrogance, Bar Contrate is the place for you. Here you will find excellent desserts, the "Spuma" at the modest price of €1.5 per glass (you can no longer find it, and not served at the table at these prices). In short, a place (open until late) widely recommended! Congratulations to the owners for their passion and kindness!

Finally a genuine place to have a good aperitivo! Very nice owners, the place is well decorated and prices are more than reasonable!

We spent an evening to remember in the company of Enrico and Santa Claus. We were there on a midweek day when it was the only bar that was open and it kept it open just for us!! Enrico, a person with heart and passion who welcomed us into his little world of collection!! Definitely coming back! Unfindable prices and an owner worth knowing!

Localino piccolo ma arredato con gusto. Un potpourri di oggetti che fanno compagnia. Menù in fase di rielaborazione da quanto ci dicono, ci hanno accolto con un menù giornaliero tradizionale che rispecchia i valori della montagna. Quantità, qualità e genuinità. Sciatt, pizzoccheri, polenta e cervo (non cercate verdure di contorno che sono assenti) tutto apprezzato. Ragazzo in sala disponibile e gentile, molto professionale e fin troppo paziente con clienti sbruffoni e impazienti che gli hanno messo agitazione.

Locale piccolino ma tipico, bello e particolare. Staff cortese, gentile e molto disponibile. Abbiamo assaggiato i loro prodotti tipici ( sciatt , pizzoccheri burro e formaggio e polenta taragna ) e li abbiamo trovato buoni e veramente genuini. ( fatti in casa ) . Prezzi moderati / bassi per la media della zona. Super consigliato per chi cerca particolarità e genuinità. Bravi ! 👏 👏👏👏

We stumbled upon it by chance, finally a place with more than honest prices and good, plentiful food! We took two sandwiches but they were really large and well made.

A hot and cold table bar with a calm and pleasant atmosphere, I was particularly struck by the aesthetics, full of nice details and decorations. Extremely affordable prices for sandwiches and wraps, not to mention the large size of the latter; regarding the prices of the former, we found them rather similar to the average. Friendly and helpful staff. In summary it is a great bar, highly recommended!

Whoever gave 1 and 2 stars to this place either entered on an unlucky evening or moment or doesn't understand anything. Low prices, refined and quality products, good wines, delicious prosecco and champagne by the glass and generous portions. Packed vintage place, characteristic but very clean. However, if you are looking for rudeness, high prices and poor quality products you just have to leave there and walk 5 meters and start entering the other nearby places. TOP highly recommended!

When you put love into what you do you can see and hear it. I didn't want to leave. A place that is properly cared for and where they treat the customer in a special way and not like a number. Well done!!!! Exceptional products.
