Bar Centrale is always beautiful, always a cult place: it was when I was a student in the '70s, and it still is today, after more than 50 years of knowing it! Excellent food: the best perch dish in the world, even beating the one I had at Villenouve on Lake Geneva, which is a classic on the Swiss lake!

For the very competitive prices, the nostalgia it evokes, the general appreciation, and the sugar level: 5 stars. Too much chaos, however, due to the nearby traffic that makes it impossible to hear each other. Lovere has a traffic problem!

From breakfast to after-dinner ice cream, it's always top-notch. The view from the upper terrace is priceless.

I think it's the most famous bar in Lovere. You have to go if you pass by Lake Iseo! I've been going there since I was little. On the first-floor terrace, of course! The prices for the first courses are competitive compared to other restaurants in the area, and the lake view is truly a lake view—you're right on top of it. The parking lot 100 meters away always has free spots; there's even a parking lot that allows free parking for 4 hours. Now for the highlight: the ice cream sundaes. Huge, they're a complete meal, 20-cm tall glasses (well-proportioned to the paper menu, which is half the size of a table) filled with cream, ice cream, toppings, waffles, and fruit. The prices are more than reasonable (my favorite is the "Banana Split" sundae—huge, very '80s-esque, but I quite like it; it costs €9.00). I admit, it's a place that always makes me say, "Should I take a trip to Lovere today?" Highly recommended.

A bit noisy and the wait to be seated can be long depending on the time of arrival, but the view is beautiful, the portions are very generous (the desserts are gargantuan...) and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back; kudos to the young and energetic waiters!

Beautiful view of Lake Iseo.... Excellent Spritz with lots of strawberries.... Fast and kind... I have to, reluctantly, lower my rating because on April 7, 2026 at dinner time they served me a tuna sandwich that was as hard as a rock: has the management changed or did I just get an "unlucky" shift?

A very nice bar with a view of the lake. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are very good. Dogs are welcome. The prices are reasonable.
