A truly local experience at the Al Castello bar with a view of the castle 🏰. It's in the middle of a busy square, which, if you're in the mood, really puts you in the middle of everyday Palermo life. The bitter coffee is typical of this place, and the pastries are delicious and freshly baked. The round baked brioche has an exorbitant amount of pistachio cream and is very cheap! The savory treats are MUST TRY. All in both large and miniature sizes, so you can try more in a single meal. The sfincione is almost sweet, almost terrifying.

We found this place completely by accident. We were surprised by its warm, family atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the pastries were delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it ❤️

A typical Palermo spot, where many Italians come for breakfast. Not a single tourist. We spent three days here and were treated incredibly well. Delicious breakfasts and amazing staff. A place we discovered and couldn't be happier. Thank you all!

This is my second visit in a row, and I can highly recommend this restaurant. The man behind the counter is incredibly friendly and attentive, and he even speaks excellent English, which makes the experience particularly pleasant for international guests. Everything I've eaten here so far has been delicious. The food is consistently high quality, and the portions are more than generous. I also appreciate the excellent value for money. There's a lovely outdoor seating area where you can relax. You can also tell right away that the place is frequented not only by tourists but also by many locals – always a good sign in my book. I'm here for a few more days and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Amazing coffee and Ricotta Brioche!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The coffee and pastries we had were excellent.

We had a delicious Caprese sandwich for two and drank a glass of nice white wine.
