The Chiocciolini brothers, especially Guido, chef of the Caffè and Rifugio il Borbotto, are refined and creative. The cakes are based on ancient family recipes handed down from generation to generation, still written in old books with annotations, notes, and suggestions. A true spectacle. Fine olive oil, chestnut flour, and Stefania's homemade ragù, along with the cakes and cookies Stefania has taught her daughters Carolina and Francesca, are the highlights of the simple and delicious menu. Tagliatelle, tortelli, ravioli, and gnudi upon request. Polenta, papà al pomodoro, and pork loin. Must try.
