This place is the real deal. Even though we were about an hour too early after a loooong (10 hours) on the road, the waiter/owner was kind enough to say we could order some pizza to go. We are staying in Castiglione del Lago and it was recommended that we go here. Well, they did not disappoint! We enjoyed the: capricciosa, del re (omg so good), the diavola/salame piccante & the vegetariana with ham. All thin crusted and perfect in proportion. We also went with local wine: Corio Rosso del Umbria which went well with the pizza.

Much more than the village bar, an excellent pizzeria in summer (book in advance to find a place) and a café, ice cream, tobacco and magazines... try the pizza, really good.

Agriturismo La Corte Del Lupo Restaurant

07/08/2024: We spent two nights in this green paradise away from any kind of noise. The stone farmhouse is cared for by the owners in every detail, furnishings and respect for the environment. The rooms are not the strong point, but everything in the common space is splendid. Large swimming pool, with availability of sunbeds and natural shade from the trees. But that's not all, breakfast and dinner with typical products, of their own production, told with the passion of those who do this work with their heart. To be recommended and certainly to return. P.s. I have celiac disease, they have a lot of respect for intolerances, I had all the complete menus very carefully. Well done!
25/07/2024: wonderful experience! satisfied with both the room, swimming pool, service, dinner, table tennis and breakfast... nice and relaxing environment
