Visited in 2020: vintage bar to try as an aperitif, they also have passito.... but from Guagnano ;) update 2025: at Carlo's bar they are unique and rare, Andrea the waiter, always smiling and kind, can give you the best advice. The trighetti (pasta like bucatini but with a triangular section) with lupine clams and chopped prawns and toasted walnuts, excellent! As well as all the appetizers from the gratin mussels, to the fried cod and the inevitable broad beans and chicory, even the very fresh fried second course. Then for those who want a nice sandwich by the sea, Carlo's also has a small grocery store in addition to the bar, where you can indulge in various combinations. The catering part, however, can only be enjoyed in winter. In fact, in the summer period you go for an aperitif of land or sea, food shops and bars. There is also a small shop where you can find excellent taralli and typical local products. Don't forget that it is an obligatory stop while doing the Cammino del Salento!

An excellent refreshment point for passers-by who need to reach Santa Maria di Leuca, the place is located in Porto Badisco, with a breathtaking view.

Eating where Italy is at home Time stopped here 100 years ago. Furnishings simple, traditional and Italian. Food absolutely at the best level. Bravo

Bar and restaurant, we stopped for a beer along the Salento road. Top staff and well organized despite the confusion of lunch time.

Wonder! Historic bar, with good and precious more than honest food. You can't miss the classic panic with mortadella and provola... small, friendly, serene, captivating place. Courteous, patient, helpful staff. Just one flaw... for me... too many tourists!!!

We made a quick stop there to enjoy a café leccesse and a pasticciotto. Another real tobacco bar. Nice address!

Really good sandwiches, excellent quality of cold cuts. Very crowded especially in the summer periods so long waits. Prices of sandwiches to personally review.
