17/06/2025: During our motorcycle tour in Umbria, we stopped one night at the "Scacco Matto" hotel on Lake Corbara.....I believe, in all honesty, that it is a really good reference for us Bikers or those who need a reference point on the road from Spoleto to Orvieto and are looking for an informal but friendly and well-equipped place. Here we found the simplicity and cordiality of a beautiful family that manages the structure impeccably with large and clean lake view rooms, a swimming pool and a restaurant that many other managers would envy. In the environment you can breathe all the air of the lake, which honestly we did not know, in its beauty and the decades-long hospitality that the place boasts thanks to its founder Vittor Ugo and his sons with their family who now carry on their father's company with great commitment.
